Young Musicians: Nikki Martin & Esther Ersfeld

Nikki Martin is emerging as one of Scotland’s most promising operatic talents, earning critical praise for her warm stage presence, vocal versatility, and natural charisma. Nikki’s love for song has brought her together with pianist Esther Ersfeld. Nikki and Esther have had the privilege of being finalists in the German Lieder prize at the RCS as well as the Ashburnham English Song Competition.

This performance is by prize-winners of the Northern Aldborough Festival’s New Voices Singing Competition 2025 and is generously supported by the Yorkshire Music Future Fund.
