Readers’ Letters is a free weekly column giving you the chance to have your say on issues affecting the Harrogate district. It is an opinion column and does not reflect the views of the Stray Ferret. Send your views to letters@thestrayferret.co.uk.
The following letter was sent to us by a Stray Ferret reader about the 36 bus.
Yesterday my 82-year-old wife, and a number of her friends, had to stand on the 36 bus from Hornbeam Park to Ripon whilst all the seats were occupied by representatives of Harrogate youth – children going home from school. Not one of them offered to exchange their place. Someone, please bring back the ‘good old days’!
Lee Challenor-Chadwick, Markington
