Police are investigating a fail to stop collision in Harrogate which caused "several thousands of pounds” damage.
Officers said the incident happened on Railway Road close to the entrance of Sainsbury’s on Monday (July 13) between 2.25pm and 2.35pm.
North Yorkshire Police said an SUV caused several thousands of pounds worth of damage when it turned left onto the Wetherby Road junction colliding with a black Honda.
In a statement, the force said:
The offending vehicle is described as an SUV estate in either grey or blue. The impact caused several thousand pounds of damage to the other drivers black Honda. The SUV turned left at the Wetherby Road junction heading towards Woodland’s corner. The vehicle involved will have some level of front-end damage.
