Police appeal for information following rural burglary

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following a burglary near Kirk Deighton.
Sometime last week (Monday, July 20 to Friday, July 24), offenders forced entry into a metal storage container at The Barn on Ruddings Farm, which lies just off the A168, south of Walshford.
They stole a number of items, including tools, a generator, a water-pump and a cement-mixer.
Appealing for information, North Yorkshire Police said:
This is a rural location, but we're keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and may have seen anything unusual. Did you notice any suspicious vehicles, people, or activity around Ruddings Farm during this period?
Please also check any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage you may have from those dates.
They added that even the smallest piece of information could help.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number NYP-24072026-0230.
