A Harrogate care home has appointed a new manager.
We Care Group, which operates Bilton Hall Nursing Home, has hired Krishnapillai Sivanandarajah to oversee the facility on Bilton Hall Drive.
Mr Sivanandarajah, known as Siva, brings 35 years of experience, including two decades within clinical and operational leadership roles in the area.
A registered nurse, he said he had a passion for person-centred care for those with dementia, and has a BSc (Hons) in Dementia Studies from the University of Bradford.
He said:
The whole team has been extremely supportive since I joined Bilton Hall, and I’m settling in well. It is a wonderful place with a homely, comforting atmosphere, and I’m keen to get the local community involved as much as possible.
Whether that’s through fundraising initiatives, volunteering, or hosting events for our residents to enjoy, we want to get everyone involved and we’re hoping to hold some charity events soon.
Bernie Suresparan, founder and CEO of We Care Group, added:
Siva is a well-known figure in the industry with a huge amount of experience and knowledge, and a track record of clinical excellence and empowering teams to deliver their very best. We’re lucky to have him at We Care Group and I’m confident Bilton Hall will continue to thrive under his leadership.
Bilton Hall, which is based in a grade-II listed former Jacobean manor hour, provides accommodation for up to 60 individuals who require nursing, residential or dementia care.
