Harrogate Town have renamed their stadium on Wetherby Road to the Marcy Fitness Stadium.
It comes after the club sponsor rebranded from Exercise to Marcy Fitness.
As part of the deal, Marcy will upgrade the exercise equipment at the club’s Rothwell training ground in a boost to first-team facilities.
David Gilson, managing director of Pure-tec Limited, the distributor of Marcy Fitness products in Europe, said:
Exercise has proudly sponsored the Harrogate Town stadium for the past two seasons.
But as the company moves into a new and exciting era of international expansion, the time is right to focus on our core brand, Marcy, which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.
Ben Rome, strength and conditioning coach at Harrogate Town, said:
This is a hugely exciting moment for the club. The investment into our training facilities and first-team environment will have a real impact, and we are looking forward to entering this new era together.
The name change takes effect immediately, with work on the training-ground improvements already under way.
Town announced yesterday that its Kick Back Scheme, a grassroots partnership with local junior clubs, raised £3,168.40 and brought in 16 partner new clubs, taking the total to 28m during 2025/26.
